Tata 2011~!

So in another 2 hours time, 2011 will officially come to an end. Say hi to 2012~! World end OMGWTFBBQ? Nah, I don't give a damn.

2011 has again passed by like a blink of an eye. If you want me to recall what have I did, I have to honestly tell you, I've just wasted another year doing nothing.

The event that I was suppose to organize back fired. So practically, I gained nothing in self-improvement wise. And I've managed to realize how timid I am through all the revelation of my ugly side from the running of this event. Slacking, laziness, procrastination, etc etc. I just wish to find back the ohm that I used to have during Form4 Form5.

On the brighter side, perhaps academic wise I did fairly good enough. Scored 4.00 CGPA for 1st sem, but only 3.69 for 2nd sem. Overall so far, 3.84.

But screw the fact that they are only changing the grading scheme next year. If the new scheme were to apply this year, it would have been a perfect 4.00 for me. HELP's standard is dropping?

Was awarded best subject award for 2 subjects in Semester 1, and one of it gave me the opportunity to get a corporate sponsor award from Kelly Services.Inc. And also was awarded the Lecturers' Choice Award from HMC, though personally I don't think I deserve it due to the sloppy job that I did.

Social wise, I didn't walk out from my comfort zone, still only stick with friends that I've known from Foundation, so I guess it's not really a good thing. I guess I only make friends when I've grown comfortable WORKING with them. Maybe I should really involve in some clubs in uni?

But on the other hand, I am proud that I did make effort to maintain the friendship with my old friends. Without me noticing, I was the one always initiating outings and events, almost every time. So that's a good thing too huh? XP Birthday celebration among Maths Departments, hangouts/karaokes with hengdais, Prefects gathering, Ungu party, etc etc. Okay. from the count of this, I seriously think I've over party this year. LOLz




So before 2011 ends, I shall make a to-do list to give me some motivation.
1. Make more friends in Uni.
2. Study hard for 4.00 next year!
3. Must go for intern!
4. Learn something in life
5. Do more exercises - Get to at least 50kg (O.O *Considering that I have been 45+/- for years~)
6. Read at least two self-improvement books.
7. Plan a trip for Prefects 09. 
8. Save money! Don't spend too much!

• Buy new sports shoes
• Change a new phone
• Buy an external hard disk
• New badminton racquet
• Go for prom
• Maybe a new hi-end compact camera...
• Okay no more or else forever I can't save enough money dy. LOLz

So 2011 is ending, wish you all Happy New Year! Welcome 2012! ;)

Macam damn mature...

I am busy doing training with my two kawaii juniors. Teaching them how to teach other people Maths. hahahaha. XD

And not only that. I also have to look through and edit all notes from my department. 5 forms x 3 chapters each = 15 sets of notes. Faster praise me for being a superman cause' I have only left 4 sets of notes not done! XPPPP


So yes that's all for a quick update. Imma go back to busy now. tata.

What have I been doing recently

Ello dear bloggie! Sorry for abandoning you for a month long. XD I have been busy with...god knows what. lolz

Well, to make things short, after 那些年 fever, yours truly was busy with finals which fell on the beginning of December. Then he was busy teaching, and also watching HK dramas, and of course, he BAKED! O.O

So on a great afternoon, yours truly, Edrea Lim, Tan Zong Yao, Julian Wong and Christine Hew made their way to Ms. Foong Lily's house to bake. =D

I was thinking that I'm gonna be the last one reaching, cause' the event *SHOULD* (emphasizing the word "SHOULD") start at 12.00noon, while I had to teach till 12.00noon, so considering the time taken to fetch Edrea and to reach Lily's house, I'm gonna be the last one la.

And so Edrea and I reached Lily's house at around 1.00pm. And vola! We were the first! O.O Apparently Christine had to wait for her mom to get back, and our dear gentlemen were busy with...lunch. 

Just FYI, we were suppose to eat together, and Lily ordered Nando's take out so yea. No idea what's the guys doing actually. lolz

So after some doggie-phobia by Edrea, some crapping,  a very gay call to ZongYao from me (pretending to be Edrea), more crappnigs, we finally had full house by around...2pm! lol. 

Yeap, we just started lunch by 2pm. lol

So baking session started roughly 2.40pm. Here it goes:

 So while waiting for the cake to be ready, we played with Brandy - Lily's puppy.

Brandy licking off the paste from Chris' hand, then bit her finger and made her angry. Bad dog.

And Brandy just loves Julian so much. So i guess he finally found his b*tch. XD

Ta-daa! It's ready! Don't ask why didn't it rise. We used the wrong powder/flour

Well...at least it looked okay.

So this is what happened: The cake layer was too hard, so when we tried to cut, we had to apply lotsa pressure/force. And then......all the cream in the middle layer was squeezed out.

Phail kan? I know. lolz. But at least it tasted quite okay. Apart from the fact that it was too dense and damn filling...

So yeap. That's yours truly's first time baking experience.

And oh, so if the observant you realized that everyone had a photo with them working but I didn't had one, and wondering what did I do, here's the answer~~~:

I was the cameraman. 

And yeap. It had nothing to do with cake baking. HAHAHAHAHHAA XD

Okay la. I whipped the cream on. 

*Oh great~ So that's really a big deal~ LOL*
