LOA

CTS says, define specific terms to avoid misunderstanding. LOA = Lack of Attention, commonly used as a noun to replace ppl who perform some perasan/attention seeking actions, while CTS means Critical Thinking Skills but that's not important.

LOAs always do some action that is uncomprehendable. For example,

Teacher: Do you agree?
LOA: (Stands up and shout) YEAH MAN YEAH, I SO AGREE WITH YOU WEIH TEACHER!!

Another example:
When taking group photo, LOA will suddenly jump in front of everyone, blocking others and he gets the best spot!

These are kind of extreme LOA. Usually ppl will just laugh and ignore. Simply because:
1. They are just playing, they are not LOA in nature.
2. They are really LOA in nature, but performing these actions means they are IMMATURE, so civillized ppl dont fight with kids.



Another kind of LOA are those that do little little things to get attention. These kind of LOA usually irritates me. There are many many sub-types of LOA under this category.

1. mm sek ban sek (dunno pretend know)

I shouldn't use my real life example or else I will ended up offending ppl. But Brian Soong, we do know a kind of LOA, the one that we keep kutuk-ing recently. Let's say, 2 pros in design are discussing on how to improve the current work, LOA will just suddenly bump in and says,

"I think right, this this this can be improved here, cause' of this this this ma, COMMON SENSE oso know like this dun work lo, why u all dun change it???" 

 So people who are not speciallized in the field (or to be specific, design in our example), will say,

"eh not bad leh his idea. Why dun we consider? Let's try doing it"

So that's the pissing off part: You cannot scold those who support him stupid, because they are not speciallized in THAT field. But he as a noob, crap something, got all the attention, while you the pro, kena ignored. IF HIS IDEA IS GOOD, why not follow? *I also got say lo, IF HIS IDEA IS GOOD, but problem is, it's NOT!*

2. "Me the world" type.

This type of LOA is damn irritating one. He will try to dominate the whole conversation, so convos usually ended up HE TALK, YOU LISTEN. Sked ppl dunno you can talk meh? You don't talk nobody will think you are mute one lo.

Something interesting here, dominate doesn't mean like an argument, he always win and you always have to lose. Dominate here means a broader sense, for example:

A: OMG so sad, yesterday kena accident.

B: Har? So cham, hows everything now?

LOA: OMG so kesian, I know weih, last time I also kena accident hor, then ................................

So something interesting here is, A should be the focus, but LOA shifted the focus onto himself, and he does all the talking about his "interesting experience" which probably no one is interested in listening, and hence "dominating the convo".

But there is also a type of LOA who is very kesian one. He TRIES to dominate, but fail. haha. Typical example is saying lame joke one after another, even though people are trying to be serious. Then the LOA will keep talking lame things so that ppl notice him. In the end ppl got fed up and ignore him lo. But sometimes ar, if these type of LOA are your friends hor, very cham de leh, you want serious he want lame, you oso dunno want ignore him or not. 

*Note! I didn't mean whoever that is lame are LOAs. I am a lame person too! I am saying people who are LAME even when people are TRYING TO BE SERIOUS*

Maybe an example will clear your doubts:

A: Weih project how?

B: Dunno leh, like everyday i'm projecting projecting, so fed up.

LOA: "everyday I'm shuffling~~~"

A: wei, you finish dy bo?
LOA: finish? what finish? oh you mean die kiao kiao the finish? no leh I haven finish

B: I mean your part of assignment finish dy bo, we need compile leh

LOA: my part? which part? down part? omg dun so hamsup la you!

3. Emo LOA.

This type of LOA always pretend emo, damn sad like that, so people will pay attention to him. Especially facebook lo, all the emo status. But in the end no one will choi him de le, very kesian de.
