2010: You can still get a parking space if you reach college by 9.00am.
2011: If you are here by 8.00am, be prepared to park at the end rows. at 8.30, good luck in finding a parking lot.
And double parking is getting from bad to worse. In the past, people only double park on one side of a single row.
red ones are double parkers, blue ones are regular parkers, lah. |
But now, they double park on both sides of a single row!
Imagine how difficult it is to move around the car park now. =.=
Car park has always been an issue to HELP, but unfortunately, HELP does not own the car park outside of the main block. BUT, that does not mean that HELP need not take any responsibility. Students pay resource fees, and I believe the admin should do something, such as finding new car parks, or have a car pooling arrangement service for students or something, so we don't have to drive A CAR PER STUDENT.
We thought the car park problem is pretty bad enough, but still, tolerable,
BUT!
BUT!
BUT!!!!!
It flooded yesterday.
Photos taken from Kaiser's wall, one by him and another by his friend.
Wow! @.@ Scary huh? We already do not have enough parking space, and this happened, where the hell shall we park?
Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining, merely stating a piece of fact. I know it's kinda like a natural disaster and we can't fully blame anyone, but like how people blame the government for a flood in KL, students started to blame HELP for this.
A piece of fact, HELP does not own the car park, and as mentioned above, but they cannot avoid all of the responsibility as well.
The students were forced to have their car towed away, and yes, too many cars, many of them wait till late night.
So, today, many students are pretty panic, and today everyone has been discussing on where else to park. And some suggested the car park behind wisma. Good idea huh?
But the suggestion quickly backfired when we saw this:
A landslide in the car park.
A tree fell, smashed a car, blocked the road. Just when we were wondering why the sudden traffic jam, the bus finally managed to move to the landslide area, and I saw bomba truck there.
O.O so now even car park behind wisma is not safe. Where else to park? *shrugs*
I have no idea too.
So now, I believe I have to leave house earlier (again), to get a parking lot in the 1st row. At least it doesn't flood there. And everyone probably is thinking of the same thing, so hence the idea of leaving house earlier. Aiyoh, what to do? <.<
FYI, at the 1st sem 2011, when I reach HELP at 7.20, I still get a car park in first row.
2nd sem, at 7.20, I have to go 2nd row, so I left house earlier. By 7.15, I still get 1st row.
3rd sem, at 7.10, I am at the last of 1st row. okla, actually there are still spaces in the 1st row, but that side is DEFINITELY kena double park side, so no people really wanna park there. The other side of the row, see loh, if you're lucky, you won't kena double parked, lorh.
Aih, car park car park, not just a problem in HELP, but everywhere is the same. Even outside mamak stalls also. Haih.
Enough crapping, I shall close this post now, gonna sleep and WAKE UP EARLY FOR CAR PARK!
